Weighted winter float with hook for swimming pools, 50 x 25 cm, stackable - BMP - Item No. NER0162
Weighted winter float: protects the pool from ice pressure
This winter float is placed in the pool water during the winter.
When the water freezes, the ice pushes against the pool walls.
The float absorbs this pressure from the ice.
The float is weighted and suitable for all types of pools.
Each float comes with its own hook.
The hook connects one float to the next to form a line on the water’s surface.
Dimensions: 50 x 25 x 5 cm, weight 2 kg, color: black.
Material: Recycled HDPE (high-density polyethylene).
The floats are stackable: they take up very little space when stored.
How many floats? For an 8 x 4 m pool, the manufacturer recommends 18 floats.
See the description for the complete chart.
Designed and manufactured in France. Recyclable product.
Description
What is a winterizing float used for?
To absorb ice pressure
In winter, the surface of the pool water can freeze.
Ice expands and pushes against the pool walls and lining.
Winter floats, placed in the water, absorb this ice pressure.
For all types of pools
The manufacturer states that this float is suitable for all types of pools.
Each float comes with its own hook.
The hooks connect the floats to one another, forming a line across the water’s surface from one side of the pool to the other.
