At Piscine SAV, we prepare and ship your orders quickly and with care. This page sets out our delivery zones, our carriers, our lead times and your rights.
1. Delivery zones
We deliver to mainland France, Corsica and the European Union.
Shipments to the French overseas territories (DOM-TOM) cannot be ordered online: they are only possible on quotation, on request from customer service (contact@sas-mv.com). They are invoiced exclusive of French taxes; any local VAT, «octroi de mer», customs duties and clearance fees, as well as the customs declaration fees, remain payable by the customer. Certain products (pool treatment chemicals, aerosols, adhesives, products containing lithium batteries) cannot be shipped to the overseas territories.
Certain destinations (Corsica, islands or hard-to-reach areas) may involve additional charges and lead times related to transport. Where applicable, the amount is communicated to the Customer before final confirmation of the order. If these charges are not accepted, the order is not shipped and is fully refunded.
In the event of an order placed with an incorrect or invalid postal code, Piscine SAV reserves the right to cancel the order and to issue a full refund, without penalty for the Customer.
2. Order preparation
- Order confirmed before 10 a.m. on a working day: it is generally handed over to the carrier the same day (barring exceptional incidents).
- Order confirmed after 10 a.m.: it is generally shipped within 24 working hours following payment confirmation.
These lead times exclude weekends and public holidays. In the event of an exceptional occurrence (unforeseen stock shortage, logistics incident, force majeure), the lead time may be extended.
3. Delivery lead times
After shipping, orders are generally delivered:
- Mainland France: within 2 to 4 working days.
- Corsica and the European Union: longer lead times, varying according to the destination and the carrier.
- French overseas territories (DOM-TOM): lead time stated in the quotation.
In accordance with Article L.216-1 of the French Consumer Code, delivery takes place no later than within 30 days of the order being confirmed, unless otherwise specifically agreed with the Customer. The lead times stated on the site are given for guidance only and may vary according to the payment method, the carrier, peak periods and public holidays.
4. Delivery arrangements
4.1 Home delivery
Home deliveries are provided by Colissimo (La Poste) and DPD. Depending on the options offered at the time of ordering, the Customer may select their carrier, or let Piscine SAV choose the most suitable carrier based on the weight, volume and destination.
4.2 Pickup point delivery
Delivery to a pickup point is provided via DPD Pickup, Mondial Relay and InPost lockers. The Customer is notified by SMS or e-mail when the parcel arrives. The availability period depends on the carrier (generally 6 to 8 calendar days); at the end of this period, the parcel is returned to the sender.
4.2.1 Failure to collect a parcel from a pickup point
If not collected within the stated period, the parcel is automatically returned to Piscine SAV. The Customer then has a period of thirty (30) days from the return of the parcel to request its re-shipment or a refund.
In this case, the initial shipping costs as well as the return costs charged by the carrier are deducted from the refunded amount, or are invoiced in advance before any new shipment. In the absence of a claim within this thirty (30) day period, the order may be considered abandoned.
4.3 Bulky or oversized products
Some heavy or bulky products require specific transport. These items are identified as such on their product page, may be delivered by a specialised carrier (sometimes by appointment), may be subject to separate shipments and involve lead times that differ from standard lead times. Their delivery may not be available in certain hard-to-reach areas.
5. Transfer of risk
In accordance with Article L.216-4 of the French Consumer Code, the transfer of the risk of loss or damage takes place at the moment when the Customer, or a third party designated by them, takes physical possession of the Products. Confirmation of delivery, by handwritten or electronic signature (including by QR code or confidential code sent by SMS), constitutes effective taking of possession and transfer of risk.
6. Late delivery
In the event that the maximum period of 30 days is exceeded, the Customer may give the seller formal notice to deliver within a reasonable additional period and then, failing performance, terminate the contract in accordance with Article L.216-2 of the French Consumer Code. The refund is made within a maximum period of 14 days following termination of the contract.
