A filter cleaner dissolves the limescale, grease and residue that build up in your filter media, cartridges or sand. A clogged filter filters poorly and pushes the pressure up: cleaning it regularly restores flow and extends the media's life. Note: these products clean the filter, not the pool water like chlorine or pH.
