Iron Tab Metal Sequestrant: Say Goodbye to Brown Stains on Your Liner
Ultra-concentrated tablets that trap iron and other metals dissolved in your pool water and direct them to the filter.
Specially formulated for PVC liners and pool liners; highly recommended for well water.
Box of 10 tablets, 40 g each.
Description
Protect Your Liner from Metals with Iron Tab
Iron and other metals in the water—especially from well water—deposit on the pool walls and cause stubborn brown stains on the PVC liner.
Impact’s Iron Tab tablets sequester these metal ions so they’re captured by the filtration system instead of staining your liner.
How does it work?
Highly concentrated, each tablet releases a chelating agent that binds to dissolved metal ions.
Trapped by the filter, they are removed during backwashing, which limits the appearance of brown stains on the PVC liner.
Why choose it?
- Prevents brown stains and corrosion of metal parts.
- Compatible with all filter types: sand, cartridge, diatomaceous earth, zeolite, and filter bags.
- Specially formulated for liners and PVC coatings.
- Highly recommended for well water.
- Simple, one-step treatment.
Instructions for Use
Determine the volume of the pool. Place one tablet, without its protective film, in the skimmer basket after each filter backwash, once a week: 1 tablet for up to 40 m³. When starting up the system, add 2 tablets per 40 m³.
Precautions
Keep out of reach of children. If medical advice is needed, have the packaging or label available. Made in France.
If your water comes from a well, perform a preventive treatment as soon as you start up the pool and repeat it after each filter cleaning: this will prevent stains before they even appear, which are much harder to remove once they’ve set in.
