The new COFIES in-ground drain flange is the ring that clamps the drain tightly against the body sealed into the pool.
On a liner pool, it sandwiches the liner and is screwed in place to ensure a leak-free seal.
Manufactured by Hayward, it matches the original dimensions of the COFIES line: outer diameter 188 mm, inner opening 150 mm, and drilling center-to-center distance 169 + 58 mm.
Tip from the team: Take advantage of the disassembly to also replace the flange gasket—a new flange on a worn-out gasket often allows water to leak. Be sure to verify that your drain is a new COFIES model before ordering.

What is the purpose of this bottom drain flange?
In a swimming pool, the bottom drain consists of several parts that must be tightened together to ensure a perfect seal.
The flange is the component that attaches on top, ensuring the assembly is tightened, held in place, and sealed against the drain body sealed into the bottom of the pool.
This version corresponds to the new model (NM) in Hayward’s COFIES line.
